I've thought of an analogy that may explain

better. Consider a swimming pool. The pH balance of the water must be

carefully maintained for the "health" of the pool. We are also

predominately water, and need that same care.

Raine,

Cute! I always use the aquarium. If the bacteria or the alkalinity

is off, the fish get sick with disease, stressed out and die. Our

bodies need the same care, or they will do the same thing.
