This would really be helpful if I could import it into a spreadsheet and

print it.

As it is though, there are some foods that I cannot tell if they are in the

" neutral " category or the " acid " category. Is this in table form somewhere

that we can look at it?

Good idea...Thanks

Never mind...please disregard my request about an importable table for

this....found it!!!

I am shocked to see blueberries are acid producing. After all these

years, I finally started eating them thinking they were good for me, and

now I have to balance that acidity out with more Body Balance. LOL

We have to eat acidic foods, just in moderation. Lowering acidity

for a healing then raising it a bit and maintaining a good balance

there after.

The blue berry thing surprised me too a few months ago. :/

Buckwheat too......

Ok, I have been following the discussions on food ph and I understand what is going on--now, how do you balance the acid and alkaline foods out? How much of each is appropriate? I understand the need for the balance, I just don't understand how to balance them. I have Doc's chart saved in my files and I am ready to use it as soon as I can figure out how to balance everything out. :)

thanks!

  • 4 weeks later...

Wellllllllllll yes, my schedule is somewhat overwhelming. LOL

Been here in FL now for two years. Ever since Valorie and I opened up The Rabbit Hole, our all Organic Juice Bar, Smoothie Shack, and Organic Tea and Coffee house I haven't had two moments to rub together.

Dear Becky,

Primarily, you want to eat "mostly" Alkaline Ash foods with a few acid ash foods thrown in for balance. There is no set formula for this as we are all different. One particular diet might be fine for one person but too acid for another. You can not go too far wrong by eating an all alkaline diet with only one or two acid ash foods thrown in for good measure. A little acid goes a long ways. There are many factors involved including the overall health of the individual, but one of the things I look for is an immediate improvement in health.

This is verified by anyone doing a cleanse and an all vegan diet (almost all alkaline for the most part) at the same time and how well they feel within three days of doing so.

Love,

Doc
