I was reading an article on this pacific naturalpath and they claim

that cow milk really doesn't have much nutritional value to humans at

all so I am wondering if it is so bad for you and has so many side

effects how come you can't escape it you see it in almost everything

in stores puddings, cheese and some of the other things is there

something else that we as humans could get more benefit from as far

as calcium and of course vitamin d naturally and that is affordable I

have always been taught that milk was the best but I am reading

articles and having sinus problems saying contrary to this so I have

an open mind on what else could be used to get the vitamins and

minerrals that are needed in the diet.

I am sorry, but as I read this on going debate about milk on so many groups I have to say one thing. There is not one thing on earth that you can put into your body that does not have some kind of effect on someone, somewhere.

We read these studies and findings, but what everyone forgets (not here, but society) is that every individual is different. What is good for one may not good for another and that goes from everything from food to drink to exercise and everything else we do in life.

The best thing that anyone can do is stop doing what everyone else says is good or bad for you, start finding out what works for your body. Yes we do need some guidelines and suggestions, but we use that information to find out what is best for us.

A person that wants to lose weight for instance, is told to eat this, don't eat that, but in reality not every diet or method works for everyone. I for one have always been overweight I tried one diet to the next as far as eating less than 1000 calories a day (which was from a nutritionist) to all protein to find out nothing was working.

I started learning about nutrition in the all natural lifestyle and when I decided to start eliminating things from my body to find out what was keeping the weight on I was able to discover that my problem was that I was eating too many refined carbs. That daily food intake pyramid did nothing for me, I cut out the refined carbs and started to lose the weight. Unfortunately my health took a turn for the worse and I ended up getting very bloated and gained back what I lost and then some. I am now feeling better thanks to the alternative lifestyle that I now live and am starting to get back into my regimen.

Sorry for the long message, but had to say what has been on my mind.
