Guest guest
Stevie, I just have to tell you, that you really have put me in a great mood. I'm dying laughing! That's just hilarious! Sometimes a person can relate something silly and it just brighten's some else day. That's what you've done for me. Sorry, I can't advise on how to use the new tinture. But I'm so happy you shared. Always, Debra - Stevie herbal remedies Saturday, February 25, 2006 12:29 PM Herbal Remedies - Ok...I'm a putz...with a question for Doc... Hi all,I'm about to embarrass myself, but they say embarrassment builds character...right? Right??I made the tooth and gum tinctures and was mixing all the ingredients together as per the recipe. I got to the oak gall or 3x oak bark tincture...I was using oak bark since I couldn't find oak gall...sooo according to the recipe it says to put in 6 oz. (3 x) of oak bark tincture. I grab the jar of tincture and pour in 6 oz. I then read to add 2 Tbs. cayenne tincture...I grab the next jar in line and happen to glance at the label..."Oak Bark Tincture" wtf??? I look down at the jar I "thought" was the oak bark and it reads Cayenne Tincture...I just put in 6 OUNCES of very, very, very HOT cayenne tincture into my tooth & gum!!! So I'm standing there thinking what the heck do I do now? I don't want to waste it so I go ahead and add the rest of the ingredients.I used it, according to directions as a gargle and unfortunately you DO have to rinse after using this...several times! Now, my question for Doc & others...can I use this or should I make another batch...I mean all that cayenne won't hurt me will it? Other than setting my mouth on fire...<grin>love,Stevie
