Guest guest
Fresh Gotu kola leaves (Indian Pennywort) work wonderfully for mental clarity. If you can't get fresh leaves , try and get those are as close as to its natural state. warmly Begum Malaysia Message: 1 Wed, 01 Mar 2006 22:17:37 -0000 "bestmom4798" <cindy_4798add-without hyperactivitycan anybody recommend a natural thinking aid. i used to take ritalin, which helped my thinking process, but stopped, because it was screwing up my adrenals. Guest guest
The best thinking aid I can think of right off the top of my head is eliminating wheat from your diet in any form whole, white whatever. If you do not do this, nothing else you will use will work the best it can. You will only be treating the symptom, brought on by what you are eating or drinking. Sugars, other than (natural sugars) must go also, this would show a great improvement. It doesn't matter that you are not physically hyperactive, if you want your brain to slow down and be able to concentrate and not taking off in all directions or being in a fog, those two things at the very least will have to go. You will also need to in the future find the foods that trigger allergic reaction for you. They differ for everybody, but mostly they are soy, corn, citrus, tomatoes, yeast even in the form of vitamin B's, to name a few. Raw apple cider vinegar to help come against allergy foods and nutralize (the ph alkline/acid) in your system would be about the best thing you could do as far as mental clarity. It oxygenates the brain and system, look more into oxyginating in other ways as well. Doc has recomended indoor plants for one. Great idea. There are herbs and oils you can use to help mental clarity too and I am sure this list will supply you with a more than ample list of them. There is an lemon egg recipe in the files that is for calcium/mag and I can guarentee you have a definciency there. The calcium you do take in and can assimilate or utilize is used up trying to alkalize your body of it's acidity. Feeding and strengthening the thyroid and pancrease will help alot in the long run of things. You will need to look also into treating your Candida. This is best done by alkalizing your diet in whole and allowing your immune system kill those yeasties off. There is an alkalizing chart in Doc's files here. Cabbage juice in the files will help restore flora to your colon. There are recipes in the files for cleaning out the colon. Also, heavy metal detox, is a HUGE, HUGE part of this. You will have to look in the files for Doc's recipes or formulas for heavy metal detox, and look online under " poor man's oral chelation " for cilantro recipes to help rid the body of heavy metals. There is so much more you can do for yourself and by no means do I mean to imply that stopping here is good enough, but for starters this will get you going. You will find the greatest help will actually be " eliminating " (wheat, sugar, heavy metals, yeast and toxins from your system) not so much what you bring in to " treat the symptom " . Have a great day! fft herbal remedies , " bestmom4798 " <cindy_4798 wrote: > > can anybody recommend a natural thinking aid. i used to take ritalin, > which helped my thinking process, but stopped, because it was screwing > up my adrenals. Guest guest
We have had great success with Magnolia Bark. It really helps with clear calm thinking. My son (who would have been put on Ritalin if he had been in public schools) takes the smallest dose of 30mg a day and likes the results. He is able to concentrate for long periods of time and finish his studies a lot quicker. He also shows better judgement in dealing with others and is far easier to live with. He likes it so well I never have to remind him to take it. This is the child I once cried for, in frustration, and seriously worried about his future. Hope this helps you.
