Guest guest
Dear Vicki, Your response here has really opened my eyes...I was recently diagnosed with Premature Ventricular & Atrial Contractions of the heart...Basically irregular heart beats that the heart drs cannot explain...They can only tell me that they're normal...everyone has then, but not eveyone feels them...They're not life threatening, but are they ever life altering...ugh... Anyways, I have noticed mine are worse after I eat...I not only have the hearlt palps, but am often feeling full of (belching) gas..I have even skipped a few meals out of frustration & fear of the episodes...Guess I need to start keeping a strict food log, as I'm about going nuts with these episodes happening all the while...I'm thinking I have a wheat allergy already...maybe there is more to it than I thought... Thanks for some added hope...I will keep you updated... Blessings, Robyn Message 17 "Vicki Weston" westonvj Fri Apr 28, 2006 3:40pm(PDT) Re: having heart palptitations...ughHi Barb, I experienced this about 15 years ago. I'm a vegetarian, but ate lots of cheese at the time. The skipped beats were really bad for awhile, then I linked it to whenever I ate a meal with cheese they would start occurring. When I cut out the cheese, they stopped. To this day, whenever I have cheese (which may have happened 3 times last year) I'll get one skip. I now cook mostly with Olive Oil, make my own cheese with out dairy, and haven't had a problem. Hope you find relief soon. I know how disconcerting (to say the least) this is! Vicki PS - let me know how you are doing!barbpom2000 <barbpom2000 wrote: Hello,I have had a blood test and waiting for the results. But for the last week, expecially yesterday and today, I have been having heart palps. The feeling is like your heart skips a beat Other then cayenne pepper, hawthorn, has anyone had to deal with this? They are going to check for thyroid problems. I sure hate this feeling, You can really get anxiety over it. This is what I'm taking:Hawthron, cayenne pepper tea, 1 c. a day. Fish oil, Co Q 10, Aged garlic.Sure can't wait to have these gone, it is not fun at all. I don't feel dizzy at all, just a thumping or missed beat in my chest.Any help would be GREATLY apperciated!Barb
Guest guest
I've had this same problem for about 12 yrs. I'm 36 and started noticing the palps in my early 20's. My heart skips beats, sometimes I can feel like a flutter that lasts several seconds. I get racing of my heart rate and sometimes it seems to beat really hard. I went to many doctors and had soooo many tests done. They all had the same diagnosis - nothing is wrong with you! Well, it's still going on after 12 yrs and I'm still here!! I do however feel there is something they missed and just hope it doesn't get worse before someone actually believes my symptoms. The main problem was my age and gender. The doctors kept telling me I was too young and too female to have a heart problem. herbal remedies , " Robin Bellows " <strawberryvines wrote: > > Dear Vicki, > > Your response here has really opened my eyes...I was recently diagnosed with Premature Ventricular & Atrial Contractions of the heart...Basically irregular heart beats that the heart drs cannot explain...They can only tell me that they're normal...everyone has then, but not eveyone feels them...They're not life threatening, but are they ever life altering...ugh... > > Anyways, I have noticed mine are worse after I eat...I not only have the hearlt palps, but am often feeling full of (belching) gas...I have even skipped a few meals out of frustration & fear of the episodes...Guess I need to start keeping a strict food log, as I'm about going nuts with these episodes happening all the while...I'm thinking I have a wheat allergy already...maybe there is more to it than I thought... > > Thanks for some added hope...I will keep you updated... > > Blessings, Robyn > > Message 17 > " Vicki Weston " westonvj<westonvj > Fri Apr 28, 2006 3:40pm(PDT) > Re: having heart palptitations...ugh > > Hi Barb, > > I experienced this about 15 years ago.
