Guest guest
Hi My boyfriend recently got a cold. It stated out as a chest cold, but after I made him a bowl of spicy soup, it cleared up- but migrated to his sinuses! Now his " head is congested " , and he walks around sniffling with two fingers pinching his nose. What can I do to help? Thanks
Guest guest
I haven't seen a response to the sinus pressure question. I'd really love to hear of a solution, if there is one to be had. Mine is due to allergies, I believe. Spring has sprung early here, and I am having a horrible time. I am tired of waking up with a full head and nose every morning, and a headache all day. I refuse to take anything to cover up the pain, and drugs to drain because I spend the entire day feeling worse! Please help before this becomes an infection! Guest guest
I have allergy problems, too, usually just itchy eyes, but when it does start bothering my sinus' I do hot and cold compresses to relieve the pressure. Use a wash cloth as hot as you can stand it over the sinus for 3 minutes. Replace with a cold cloth and ice cubes for 30 seconds. Repeat with hot & cold several times. The hot draws blood to the area, the cold drives it away causing good circulation - repeated regularly, this could keep away a sinus infection. My husband is having sinus problems now from a tooth infection, constant drain and bad smell. He snorted activated charcoal in salt water solution last night and said it helped greatly. Someone else suggested snorting cayenne - so he did that today - didn't sound like he was having fun! Don't know if it helped any as he left shortly afterward, but I have heard of doing this before. I think it was from Richard Schulze if you want to look it up on his web page. VickiKimberly Smith <k_frog100 wrote: I haven't seen a response to the sinus pressure question.
