Tabby, Take a hot & cold shower with the water aimed at your chest. 3 minutes as hot as you can take it, 30 seconds as cold as you can take it, then switch back to hot again. Do this at least 4 times, ending with hot so you aren't chilled. This gets the blood circulating in the area that is having the problem. Heat drives the blood towards it, cold pushes the blood away - gets the immune system moving good and increases white blood cells to help fight the infection. You can also look up fomentations in the old postings or hydrotherapy on the web. Sorry I don't know herbs well enough to suggest something. I don't know anything about lung problems, I hope I never have to,

but maybe you might want to read about colloidal silver. I read it

helps with alot of problems.

If I had a lung infection I would

nebulize with 20-30% DMSO/70-80% Colloidal Silver several times a day.

To my knowledge it is safe while breastfeeding, but do a bit of

research just to be sure (or maybe Doc can weigh in?). I would second

and third swallowing a lot of chopped, fresh garlic in olive oil as

well. You really need to take in several cloves at a time. If it's too

hard for you (it is for my hubby) try Vanessa's "garlic recipe" posted

earlier.

We just cured our rat of an inner ear infection (caused by the

mycoplasm they carry) by doing this very thing. We've also used it

successfully in the past.

Hope this helps,

Raine

Hi Tabitha,

We put the rat in a small box with a hole cut in it for the nebulizer,

treating her for approx 5-8 minutes, twice a day with 30% DMSO/70%

Colloidal Silver. We also put garlic/mullein drops in her ears but I'm

unsure of how much got in there to actually be effective. Rats are

pretty squirmy. lol We fed her a lot of high water fruits as we weren't

sure of her ability to navigate to the water bottle.

She was at the head tilt/rolling stage of the ear infection and this

cleared it up in two days. As of yesterday she has no more tilt, no

more runny eyes, no more congestion. And she's a pretty old girl,

pushing 2 years.

With this success I would treat humans the same way.

I forgot to mention that I also put

a fair amount of CS in the rat's water bottle, and we sprayed her

eyes/face with CS whenever we handled her.

We are still nebulizing her and keeping the CS in her water.

I add this because I think all components are important, and my

experience will hopefully help someone else with a sick pet or person.
