Hello All! My name is Kim Fasser, I'm a Catholic homeschooling mother of 7, wife to career Air Force member, & artist when there's time! :)My family & I live in NE Wa state, have 3 horses, 3 Aussies, & hopefully 1 cat in the near future. (Need I say we love animals?) I've gotten my husband ( & the 3 remaining children) off of MOST junk food, we cook & bake from scratch...but I'm really wanting / needing to learn more about herbal remedies. My first question is about pre menopausal question... I had a partial hysterectomy 4 years ago & have wondered when / if I should be taking any sort of vit / minerals! (I still have my ovaries...but don't know how long they're gonna last!)I don't take any vitamins thus far because all the ones I've seen have so many artificial ingredients, I'm afraid too! I have terrible headaches (migraine AND TMJ!), dry skin, moodiness, bruising (never did before!) The base drs want to give me all sorts of anti depressants for the headaches & say chiropracters are "unproven!" so they won't refer me! Any suggestions? My 2nd question for you experts is.....any natural remedies for nail fungus? I REFUSE to take that garbage the dr wanted to give me! I'd much rather put up with the yucky nails than injure / kill my liver! However, I would like to try any natural solutions you might know of! I hope y'all don't get tired of my questions! I want to learn, learn, learn so as to teach my kids & grandkids! Thanks for your time & advice Sincerely, Kim
Guest guest
Yes, tea tree oil is great and add fresh garlic! Ingest as much as you can possibly handle. You can chop it and take it just like any med, just swallow with water. Or you can use it in salads or juice it into fresh veggie juices. Try at least 4 cloves per day and it must be fresh. Don't worry about the garlic odor once your body adjusts to it the smell goes away. I have toe nail fungus and have had this reoccuring fungual rash on my back for many years and my doctor always put me on lamisil which would cause a lot of problems for me - heartburn, liver pain, dark urine, very dry skin and hair, headaches - so I quit using it and started garlic and also use tea tree now for my nails and rash. Well, I'm feeling SO MUCH better I can't even explain how much! And it's simple! Now for your bruising I'd say you may need more iron in your diet. Headaches - I'd suggest magnetic therapy. I bought 2 magnetic bands for my wrists from my chiropractor and whenever I feel one coming on I put on the bands and wow!! It really does work, no joke. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/12/041217104054.htm Hope this helps! Tori
