Have you seen the emails about lowering gas prices?Want the real and only lasting solution?

 

The government is currently giving the billion dollar oil companies tax breaks, the oil companies do not have to pay as many taxes as other companies, to help keep the cost of gas lower for Americans. Elsewhere in the world gas is already $4 and $5 a gallon because other governments do not give gas companies tax breaks.

 

Exxon alone was given 2.7 Billion dollars (as if they don't have enough profit) in tax breaks.

 

I wish the government would take away the tax incentives to oil companies. And give the tax breaks to solar and wind power companies. That would finally make solar and wind power cheaper to produce than Gas.

 

Then it would finally be cheaper to develop and make safer alternatives, lasting alternatives, renewable alternatives.What would you do in vehicles?

 

Running vegetable oil or 100% biodiesel in all diesel engines is the 100% friendly way to run diesel engines right now. A simple $500 kit allows you to convert any diesel engine to run on Vegetable oil. Which is a much better and safer alternative to ethanol. Plus, vegetable oil is not a negative energy fuel. Which means it takes more energy to make ethanol, than it actually produces. Vegetable oil is not a negative energy fuel.

 

And switching cars to vegetable oil or biodiesel is the simple, easy, almost immediate way to remove our dependence on fossil fuels.

 

In the mean time, all gas cars can be retrofitted to run on propane for $1500 per car. The savings in gas usually pays for itself in 2-5 years.

 

Then, if we used the same tax credits going to the oil companies to get them rich, and gave them to individuals, people could use that money to switch their cars from diesel to vegetable oil. They could switch their gas cars from Gas, to propane, and not even void the warranty on their cars. Then we would be not only spending less on fuel, like vegetable oil and propane, but be using wind and solar power and cut out emissions from fossil fuels like oil. Cut our dependency on the middle east, and be a self sufficient country again.

 

Australia has all of the taxis, buses, public vehicles, and many private vehicles that run off propane, and fill up and propane stations like we do at e-85 stations. Even if the tax breaks didn't go to solar and wind powered companies, but went to the individual people with diesel cars and regular cars, so they could convert them to vegetable oil or propane.

 

The tax breaks the government is giving to oil companies would easily offset the cost of this so people who could not afford it could have it done.

 

But why does no one talk about this? Because there is no money in it. at least right now.

 

It is not about saving energy, it is about using 100% environmentally friendly energy sources, so we can all use as much as we want.
