Hi, Anyone have any experience with the British Berkefeld water filters? Am looking for a drinking water filter system without electrical components. Any recommendations for another brand that would be better? Thanks

www.pwgazette.com Pure Water Products in Texas-makers of reverse osmosis and other filtering systems. I have one of their RO systems for about $197-makes 50 gallons a day AND removes fluoride. i used a RO unit for 10 yrs & have used the British Berkefeld for the

last 9 yrs.

IMO the British Berkefeld is much better in many ways: no wasted

water, filters easy to clean & inspect, great taste.

With a RO you need to make sure you change the filters as instructed

or bacteria can develop - at least with the one I had.
