Guest guest
Hi, In your post you indicated that you were having problems finding all the ingredients in Melaleuca products. I will try to help you with that, if you look on the label of each item, or if it comes in a box look on the box it is all listed there. If you are wanting to know about an item that you have not ordered yet, look it up under products and click on ingredients. If you want something that shows every product that they have you could even order their product resource book. You indicated that they might even have formaldehyde in some of there products, I totally disagree with that. I have fibromyalgia, and that is the reason that I did so much research on chemicals, and the company's that sell products. Formaldehyde is a cancer causing ingredient, and is not used by Melaleuca. In the past they did use some paraben's, but they have a team that researches for them, and found that there could be problems with paraben's, so they were removed from their products. I have been shopping with Melaleuca for a couple of years, and have found there products and service just wonderful. If you want to compare them to Proctor and Gamble or Johnson and Johnson, then you should look all of them up on the computer. I found a site on Proctor and Gamble that showed they have some 80 plants around the world, none in the USA. However there are many in China, the people that work there have to live on a compound next to the factory. Their pay is very small, no sick leave, no vacation, have to work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week. It showed pictures of the inside of the compound, just rows and rows of single beds, all in one big area. Look all three up on that EWG site, and I think that might tell you the story of how different they are. Because the chemicals are one thing that really bothers my fibromyalgia, I have done extensive research on the chemicals, and the manufactures of the products that I was using and using now. I really like their vitamins and supplements too, I can tell such a difference in my health after switching. I do agree with you that you can use baking soda for a lot of things, and that it is health and environmentally friendly. I have and still use it myself on many things, but there are many things that I want to do that I can not use baking soda for. I searched for over a year to find out the answers to all these chemicals and the damage they can do to a persons body, and still looking and researching to this day. I have been with Melaleuca long enough to know that if they find they are using something that might be harmful they remove it. I am not saying that Melaleuca is perfect, but they are so much better than any other co. that I have found to date. I am not trying to sell you on Melaleuca, if you like it then that is great, if you do not then that is your opinion. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. They have a great service dept., so if you have problems or questions about any product just give them a call. They have a 100% guarantee for 60 days, even if you have used it all up, I have never found it to be a problem. I know for me changing to Melaleuca products has been a wonderful thing for my health. My fibromyalgia is so much better, I have more energy, and it is great to be able to clean without all those harmful chemicals to breath. It got rid of my grandson's eczema, my daughter and her two children have allergy's and asthma, and has been a tremendous help to them. I see the difference everyday, so I know it was a good change for me and my family. I personally am very grateful to Melaleuca. If I had continued on the path that I was on I feel I would be in a wheel chair by now, and so disabled that I could not do much of anything. I feel they have given me my life back. I do not sell Melaleuca, but I do believe in the co., and the difference they are making in peoples lives. Seeing and feeling the difference makes it believable for me. Guest guest
Yes Annie, since I am a Mela rep myself I looked it up and found no formaldehyde in their products. I had heard that from someone else and I should not have posted that before I checked it out for myself. That person may have been referring to the household cleaners? or is it that they are also formaldehyde free? If it's in a product I don't ingest, then it doesn't bother me, as I know it is necessary for shelf life in some products such as cleaners. Guest guest
Hey Ann, You are correct there is not any formaldehyde in any of the products, cleaners included. Chemicals in cleaners and personal care is pretty important because they go into your skin like a sponge. From your skin they go into every organ in your body, which can cause all kinds of health issues. Then the chemicals in the air go straight to your lungs, which of course can cause all kinds of breathing issues. All this makes a persons body toxic, and over loads the liver. There are several country's, Europe and Canada that have outlawed several of the chemicals in cleaning products. Certain manufacturer's make two of some of there cleaners, one for the country's that have baned it, and another for the USA. Isn't that crazy! Have a great day!
