Sorry, list members. My last sentence got cut off. If you do send a donation,

please let me know. I've offered to keep track of funds received from this

list.

Thank you,

Fundraiser for ill acupuncturist

Dear list members,

I am posting this information with the permission of Todd and Doug.

It has come to my attention via a local email list that an acupuncturist nearby

in Sedona, Arizona, Kathy Salisbury-Lawrence, is seriously ill. Last year she

was stricken with breast cancer. Now a brain tumor is threatening to blind her.

She needs to be transferred to a special clinic, Issels Medical Clinic in

Summerland, California for treatment, the cost of which is estimated at

$16,500.00.

Kathy has been unable to work since February of this year. Another local

acupuncturist has been seeing her patients for her, and providing her with that

income.

Friends of Kathy Salisbury-Lawrence have made an appeal on her behalf, and a

bank account has been set up to receive funds. Any donation you can make would

be a blessing and greatly appreciated.

Here's the bank information - you may contact them to verify legitimacy:

Thank you for considering helping Kathy. Over 10 years ago, I myself was in need

of surgery that I couldn't afford, and my community assisted me financially.

There aren't words enough to describe my gratitude. I will be doing a local

fundraiser for Kathy later this month and helping as I can. I'd love to see

acupuncturists be there for each other in urgent times such as these. If

Thank you,
