Hi All,

See the reply by Prof Zhang Weibo to my mail, in which I asked what the

term " low hydraulic resistance point " means.

Thank you, Prof Zhang, for your reply, and apologies for addressing my mail

to your student and not to you.

Prof Zhang wrote Jan 19, 2007: " Dear Dr. Rogers, Thank you for your letter.

I am Weibo Zhang, the corresponding author of the paper. Dr. Xie is my

postgraduate student. The low hydraulic resistance points were found by a

newly invented hydraulic resistance measuring device. I would like to

attached a simple paper in the letter to show you the method. "

" We mainly measure the low resistance point on mini-pigs and a series of

low resistance points could be found along the meridian line which was

determined by low electric impedance method. We also measured the point

on human body only on bladder meridian and found two lines. One

corresponded to the meridian. The other was in the beside. So I think the

meridian including acupoints are the low hydraulic resistance points but low

hydraulic resistance points or channels will more than the main meridian

lines and acupoints. I don't know if the answer is satisfies you or not. Best

regards, Weibo Zhang "

Prof Zhang, many thanks for your reply. Please send on the detais of your

measuring device for the group. We would be most interested to see details

of your instrument!

Best regards,
