Guest guest
Hi Julie, I wish I had ideas for this last week, when I was preparing for my colonoscopy! My doctor prescribed some chemical liquid that tastes toxic and was very hard to keep down. Now, a week later, I can still taste the stuff when I cough - if I had any doubts about the lung and large intestine being connected before, I certainly wouldn't now! The challenge with taking herbal alternatives, is that they are unfortunately not clear, like the preparatory formulas are. Any possible darkening or staining of the colon by the herbs could possibly cause a misdiagnosis. Good question, though. I'd like to hear any options.
