Guest guest
Hi Years ago I was able to buy " inhalers " , rather like the Vicki Vaporub ones that you used when you had blocked sinuses. I am unable to find an outlet for them. I remember reading somewhere about using salt in a bottle and then putting in the essential oils for inhalation. Can someone please let me know if there is any particular salt, for example rock salt or epsom salts which is better. I am wanting to make an inhaler for a friend who is about to start chemotherapy. I find them very easy to work with and they have good customer service. Sandi Thompson, R.A. Guest guest
Hi list, David and Jeanine Moss wrote > I remember reading somewhere about using salt in a bottle.....Can someone please > let me know if there is any particular salt...which is better. I like sea salt, and love to combine chunks of rock salt, with fine sea salt; then fill a bottle (I use a 5 ml bottle), drop in the oil blend of choice. Here are some of the people I have used this for: A busy executive who doesn't like to " fuss with oils " . A woman who didn't want oils to spill in her purse. Travelers. Study-a-holics. Brides. A professional with varying shifts who needed to stay awake to drive home. People who take the bus every day. A person who has never tried Aromatherapy. People who tend to experience trembling, or muscle weakness. I usually use a dark green bottle, but for a bride or a teen I use a clear bottle, and color the salt with a little food coloring. Guest guest
I have made two bottles for myself (to help with panick attacks) and I used fine seasalt in 10ml brown glass dropper bottles minus the dropper. Then added the EOs of choice and after several months, they still smells wonderful and do they trick they are supposed to. I just hold one of them under my nose and inhale normally for a couple of minutes and if it's the EOs or the breathing - who am I to say?? But it works like a charm :-D Fragrant Blessings, Ylva
Guest guest
Hi Ylva, I made a " smelling salt " in a small glass jar - equal amounts of hyssop, eucalyptus, naiouli - for coughing attacks, it works really well, except that I keep giving them away, mary Well, Naturally http://www.wellnaturally.com At 04:56 PM 5/24/2004 +0000, you wrote: >I have made two bottles for myself (to help with panick attacks) and >I used fine seasalt in 10ml brown glass dropper bottles minus the >dropper.
