Guest guest
Hey Christina, > That's interesting. Wouldn't it be nice if I could > switch this woman from YL to Butch's great products? Fine with me .. switch them to ANYBODY besides YL and I grin. :-) > But Butch, could you stand having your lavender smell > like YL's? LOL ;-) That's fine too .. could be they got it from me. ;-) I am serious .. they know I refuse to sell to them .. they tried to buy a barrel of Oregano EO from me once .. direct export from Turkey and I refused .. told them why too. Didn't want my products tampered with and didn't like Gary Young. So maybe they're buying under a phony name now. ;-) > Christina I will move down and answer Vaneta now .. I was gonna do it so I might as well do both at once. > --- Vaneta <vanetarae wrote: > >>I have a bottle of YL Lavender, I also have a bottle >>I purchased from Anatolian Treasures(Butch). Likely the latter .. might be no difference .. or not enough that it jumps out and bites one. Or .. could be mine. ;-) >>The label on YL lavender says it is: Lavandula angustifolia >>Linalol CT That is strange to me .. but I'm a retired Military Cop so I reckon I'm the suspicious type to begin with. Why would they go to the trouble of emphasizing Linalool in a Lavandula angustifolia? The major components of all L. angustifolia are Linalool and Linalool acetate. Even Spike Lavender (L. latifolia) and the French/Turkish Lavender (L. stoechas) have those two chemicals to some degree .. and .. Lavandula angustifolia is not a Chemotype and that's what they mean by the CT. Lavandula angustifolia is a species. A Chemotype is a population of plants belonging to a particular species that differs chemically from others of that species. Thymes are a good example .. as are Rosemarys and Basils. Just makes me wonder why they are emphasizing this. >>. ´¨¨)) -:¦:- >>¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) >>((¸¸.·´ ..·´ Vaneta -:¦:- >>-:¦:- ((¸¸.·´* Looks like a Skeeter buzzing around up there .. good job it is. But you might oughta grab some Catnip afore he gets rambunctious. ;-) Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
