Guest guest
I am experimenting with bath teas and have one recipe that calls for comfrey leaf. I have read about the FDA warnings against using comfrey leaf but I believe this is only if taking it internally? Was wondering if I should just delete this ingredient from the recipe? Hope everyone is enjoying this day! Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, Its just for internal use that there is a warning. If used in extreme excess (internally) it can put undo stress on the liver and cause problems. Externally it is good for skin regeneration ... Happy Independence Day!!!!! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Marilyn Schendel [MSCHENDEL] I am experimenting with bath teas and have one recipe that calls for comfrey leaf.
