Guest guest
At least for NOW. Then I'll go away and stick with my business list and leave you good people in peace! ROFLMAO! Consider either entering or creating a Barter exchange. Chris knows of a bartering list. But if you can set up a barter group or belong to a barter ring it can certainly help to offset costs and help you to get some things that you need. For example, at least one person on this list does websites. If you need website work done but don't have cash and she's in your barter group, you can exhange goods (and usually plus some cash). If you have a good exchange or ring system going, You can have a system where you have a certain amount of exchange " credits " . for example, say I need web work by the Web Creator doesn't need anything I have. Her work is worth a certain amount of credits that comes out of " my account " and she can go to someone else within the ring or exchange. and get what she needs. This can be rather laborious as someone needs to keep track of the amount of plus and minus credits that each person has, but if you have a strong exchange group going it could work wonders in saving people a lot of cash and yet still be able to grow their business. Especially as your exchange group grows and you starting getting business that are farther afield of what you do but have things you need. You can start out very simple by having a link page of people you barter with (and each person would also need to put a link up on thier page). Keep in mind that your whole business cannot be about bartering, people need money. You can set it up your agreements that you barter/exchange 100% goods or 85% good and 15% cash. One last little note on this. The IRS see's bartering as income, so keep records. Some bartering exchanges can end up comprising hotels, restaurants, printers, plumbers, Web designers and hosts. So don't limit your idea's on who to accept into your own link system. And that's it. I'll go away now. ;-) Cheers!
