Since I live here in the Land of Kim Chee, I felt compelled to comment. I agree on the benifits of kim chee, and I can see how it would be helpful. It has very strong digestive qualities too. Without getting into great detail, or accidentally turning anyone off of your suggestion, let me just say that if there is one thing in the world that can take my AM sickness to new heights of exquisite torture, it's kim chee. When I'm not pregnant - I love it. But it's SO ubiquitous here, and it leaves a very distinctive smell on the breath and body odor.... I CANNOT escape it anywhere I go. Hence, my issues. I will say that it is very good for any digestive ailments, and when I am not pregnant, I find it quite delicious. Sometimes I find lemonaid helps a bit, but it's not so good for the reflux problem - nor is mint. But am am thinking of putting lemon and mint in the burner today. Ginger tea helps a bit. My AM sickness last all day, and only seem to go away when I am eating (which is hard to do) or sleeping - so any and all suggestions are welcome. I really find this fascinating. Even though this is my first pregnancy, I truly believe that each one is different for each woman, so the more suggestions I hear, the better I feel. Something is bound to work eventually, even if it is just waiting it out until the second trimester. <crawling back onto the couch with my barf bucket> JenB
Guest guest
Jen, How about plain old soda crackers? It helped so many women, including myself. Strange thing, I rarely had morning sickness but mine was in the evening. C-M
