Introduction - Pavlos Mayakis

Hi, I recently joined this left last week and wanted

to introduce myself before too much time went by

I am a weaver and surface desinger (dyes and other

stuff onto cloth). This summer I moved to the

montains fo Puerto Rico on a property withi lots of

fruit trees including some exotic. I am interesting

in growing more exotic fruits and also to grow herbs

and plants for health/healing and to use as natureal

dyes such as Indigo. It's a bit of a challenge

relearning Spanish as well a new culture. But I

really like it here and the views from m;y studion and

house are perfect.

 

I am also interested in several areas of holistic

health including Ayurvedic Medicine, Aromatheraphy,

and color theraphy. I thougth that I would add both

soap and candlemaking to what I do for family, friends

and as gifts. For the soap I thought that I could

make double weave pockets out of a thicker hemp and

enclose the soap into the pocket and the pocket could

act like a washcloth. Just some ideas and before I

ramble much longer , I just wanted say that I have

been enjoying the comments and suggestions on this

list. Thank you.,
