Guest guest
I am writing to inform your group of an experience I have had with the Fragrant Earth Company in hopes that by sharing my experience, I can save others the trouble of dealing with such poor service. On June 17th 2004 I placed my first order with Fragrant Earth for some essential oils. I had read Jan Kusmirek's excellent article on the quality of essential oils and felt that this was a company I wanted to do business with. I received the first order within 10 days and was very pleased. They had charged me a Value Added Tax in error since I live in the USA so I wrote and asked them to apply the tax error to my next order. On June 21st 2004 I placed a second order for a number of essential oils. After 3 or 4 weeks and not receiving my order, I wrote June Kyte to inform her that my order had not arrived. I was told that it should be with me soon. I wrote again in August to let Ms. Kyte know that the order had not arrived and that I would like confirmation of a new shipment or a refund of my money. It is now September and after several attempts to contact Fragrant Earth I have not received the courtesy of a reply, my original order or a refund of my money. What do you do with a company who ignores its customers and cares not at all about quality of service? Of course I have no recourse except to inform consumers of my own unhappy experience with Fragrant Earth and hope that they will avoid the same. With kind regards, Robert E. Guest guest
Hi Robert Regarding your awful experience with Fragrant Earth, I am presuming that you paid by credit card and I am sure that if you contact your card company then they will refund your money and at the same time charge FE a recall charge of around £20 for doing this. I hope this works for you Regards Ann - Scotland >>> Of course I have no recourse except to inform consumers of my own unhappy experience with Fragrant Earth and hope that they will avoid the same. Guest guest
I agree with Ann, Granted, sometimes things happen, but when you are in business you always have to get in touch with your customers, especially if they are contacting you! Tell your CC company and get your money back! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Ann Thorpe [Ann] Hi Robert Regarding your awful experience with Fragrant Earth, I am presuming that you paid by credit card and I am sure that if you contact your card company then they will refund your money and at the same time charge FE a recall charge of around £20 for doing this. Guest guest
I had a simular experience with another company. I ordered a book from them so they had my credit card number. About one year later they charge me for a conference I never signed up or attended. Called the first time they were going to discuss it in some meeting didn't hear back. Called the second time and left voice messages they never called me. I called my bank and told them, got my money back. It was definately poor customer service and then some. I will never have anything to do with that company. Paula
