CHEO (Children's Hosopital of Eastern Ontario) has begun to experience

higher rates of children being brought to the hospital with respiratory

problems. Not all are Flu. Their average of 130 kids per day has jumped to

175.

Parents need to be aware that SCENTED LAUNDRY DETERGENTS AND FABRIC

SOFTENERS CONTRIBUTE to RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS.

According to University of Washington researchers, these products contain:

a) EIGHT chemicals that are toxic to the Respiratory System (ie., lungs,

throat and nasal passages);

AND

b) TWO chemicals that are toxic to the body's Immune System.

Numerous other chemicals in these products are toxic to kidneys, liver and

other major organs as well as carcinogenic.

Also, bear in mind that the top-selling brands that claim to be scent-free

actually have their scent MASKED by other chemical(s), that is according

to the Lung Association.

The best response by Parents and Grandparents to this threat to our

children is the most natural and low chemical laundry products on the market -

check your organic aisle for a good variety of alternatives
