Guest guest
Thanks for all the posts and help on treating my carpal tunnel without steroids or surgery. Just after xmas I started using a Carpal Therapist device. Within two weeks the thing actually killed the pain and numbness; totally. (basically, it massages the wrist in a way that does the job.) It's a real good product if you're in bad pain and don't want the docs to have their way with you. I don't trust docs one bit. OK now, if anybody has a recommendation for my plantar fasciitis, I'd be good as new. Vit B complex helps, but just a little. Plantar splints are just barely useful. Guest guest
Try putting a pillow at the foot of the bed (where your feet are) and keeping your legs straight with the foot flat against the pillow. The idea is to not let the toe end of your foot drop allowing the hamstring up the leg pull up. I had plantar fasciitis, wore a half cast on my lower leg and foot with the same idea as the pillow. The cast hurt worse than the fasciitis. I read about using the pillow in a Prevention magazine. The first nite I used the pillow idea, the next morning when I got up to walk, the pain was gone. I slept with the pillow bracing my feet for a long time before I finally got over the fasciitis. But it worked. Hard to get used to sleeping this way, but it worked for me. Hope that helps....Donetta
