Guest guest
Hi Jenny, Type 2 Diabetes has become an epidemic. And while it used to be believed that it was somehow inherited in one's family line, people are now getting diabetes with no apparent family history of diabetes. When I first was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I was given oral medication and was told that the reason I had diabetes was because my pancreas could no longer make enough insulin. So, I took the medication faithfully for over 9 years. Then, the medication stopped working. Doctors tried upping the dosage. Then they accused me of cheating on my diet. Finally, they told me that I had to go on insulin. It was at that point that I fired my doctors. Thus began my own journey. During this time,  I tried to eat no sugar and mostly meat. This is a huge mistake because meat is very hard for the kidneys to break down. Now, I have second stage kidney disease. Eventually, I found something called the Budwig Protocol. I found it quite by accident while looking for something to help with floaters in my eyes. I also found the website of a man who cured his own diabetes with dietary changes. You see, in many cases, type 2 diabetes is caused by all the bad hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils in the foods we eat. If you want to know if a cookng oil is good or bad for you, then ask yourself this question: When I take this oil home, do I put it in the refrigerator or do I put it on the shelf? If you can store the oil (except for coconut oil) on the shelf, then you should not buy it nor consume it. The body creates new cells to take the place of cells that die off. When they do this, they use the foods you eat to create these new cells. So, when you eat the bad fats or foods cooked in the bad fats, you are building your body with plastic instead of bricks. The cell membranes of cells that are built with the bad fats are stiff,  preventing the insulin from doing its job. Below are two links, one on the Budwig Protocol, the other on diabetes.  The Budwig Protocol is better known as a cancer cure with a 90 percent success rate. http://www.healingcancernaturally.com/budwig_protocol.htmlhttp://www.healingmatt\ ers.com/diabetes.htm Regards, Linda Bastida --- On Tue, 3/30/10, pat mikrut <patmikrut wrote: pat mikrut <patmikrut Re: << >> 22 year old in need of diabetes information Tuesday, March 30, 2010, 8:49 PM  aint that the truth. ____________ _________ _________ __ Jennifer <j.toler87 > Alternative- Medicine- Forum@ s.com Mon, March 29, 2010 7:44:31 PM << Alternative- Medicine- Forum >> 22 year old in need of diabetes information hi my name is Jenny. i am looking for information on diabetes, any books, websites, articles, or anything. all of my grandparents have diabetes and i am having some symptoms myself. i also am a medical student looking to further research this disease. if you have anything that would help it would be much appreciated. thank you.
