It thus contains over 80 trace minerals - identical to mineral content of our bodies. The way it works is that it 'reminds' our cells of their original composition and helps them to get back to health. It is also alkalising. I take a glass of sole every morning and have felt a definite improvement in general health. Myself and friends have also been amazed at its ability to heal cuts and burns topically. I have a small problem with all the hype surrounding the latest and greatest, "Super-Duper-Fix-It-All-One-Shot-Cure" mentality, with some kind of referrence to Himalayan, Hunzan, Metaphysical, Spirituality thrown in for good measure to sell some Hippie, Earth Mother product. Please pardon my cynicism with its touch of sarcasm. I have nothing against Hippies, or Earth Mothers, or Hunzas from the Himalayas, but I do take issue with hype that sells mediocrity as divine manna. As far as I'm concerned, you want Sea Salt that comes from a relatively pristine source and that has a minimal amount of pollution. All of your Top Quality Sea Salts have over 80 trace minerals. The best that I could find were the Celtic Grey from The International Grain and Salt Society and The Tropical Salt from The Tropical Salt Corporation out of Haiti which is cheaper than the Celtic, though just as good if not better. I like the taste of the Tropical better, and I've seen where they harvest it from = very pristine area of the Carribean. I'm a little sceptical of new fads. I could and am willing to be wrong.
