Guest guest
Hi Anne I tried what you suggested last night... makes sense, thinking about it. It worked out very well too, since I am on my 10th day of the fast (Half way there...) AND of course my little " monthly " decided to announce it's presence. Since I cannot take any supplements or pills during this MC, I thought I was gonna DIE!!! But the epsom and sea salts along with some tea tree oil soap made the bath awesome and ended up helping in many ways! I wanted to just sleep in it! The ONLY thing that stunk was that it took well over an hour for the bath to cool even the slightest! Where I am, it's been in the 80's and 90's... and though we do have AC, I hate using it unless we're all dyin... and the nights have still been pleasant. Had to add COLD water just to get in, 1.5 hours after I actually ran it! lol But it was worth the wait! Thanks to you and Micki and everyone for all the help through this... sometimes trying to research the answer to one or two simple questions on the internet is a lost cause! But you all are awesome Love and Blessings, ~Raaven > > I understand the best way to take a bath to avoid chemicals: > > *Fill the bath-tub up with hot water only. > > Let the water cool to lukewarm. > > The Flouride and other chmeicals in the water will evaporate in the > steam...\ > > Then add more hot-water to the bath-tub to make the water hot enough. > >
Guest guest
Hi Raaven: Hey that is awesome...a nice hot bath with Epsoms-Salts and Sea-Salts and Tea-Tree Oil soap...I love it. I thought the idea of cooling the water and adding more hot water was good; actually that tip was not my own; it was on a radio-health show. I would definitely advise you to take this bath daily during cleanse. If you have any other questions; we all want to help others. Great! A. PS another tip: *make a quart of strong black or green tea(3-4 tea bags steep 1/2 hour or longer); remove bags and pour the Tea-concentrate in bath-tub just before bathing; swish the Tea-concentrate around in water...The Tea is a very good skin toner and relaxant; rinses soaps off too. a. -- In herbal remedies , " E J Lanier " <raavenart wrote: > > Hi Anne > > I tried what you suggested last night... makes sense, thinking about > it. I will try the tea tonight as well! Just basic black or green teas are ok? I'm on day 11... woohoo!!! Half way there. Ironically I have been feeling like I am doing two seperate cleanses. The first few days I felt terrible, then I started feeling really good. Now the last few days I have been feeling not so good again, and the symptoms have started all over again too like I just started the cleanse. Like the mild headaches and metallic taste in my mouth. Doesn't help I started my cycle the other day I am sure, but ironically after one day of cramping, THAT has eased up greatly... I think it actually was the baths! The detoxing seems to be ongoing in my body... but I was about as bad diet-wise as you could imagine, my while life... so I am sure I have a lot to get rid of buried under years of fat and other yuckies! hehe. Almost thinking I may go longer than the originally planned 21 days! I'm sure I'll have more questions throughout the next 10 days... LOL! I appreciate everyone's assistance and encouragement through this... it's been HUGE for me, and hard too. But wonderful all at once And I am LEARNING so much too! ) Love and Blessings, ~Raaven
