Whoops, I forgot this link: http://www.nexusmagazine.com/articles/urine.html This therapy has been around forever.

*** My wish is not to offend anyone but I thought this would be a good place to discuss Urine Therapy. My girlfriend came over yesterday raving about the research that she has done on it which prompted me to do some research myself from a skeptics point of view. I was surprised to see how many articles that I have seen on it. My logic is even though you may be recirculating vitamins and minerals you would also be recirrculating the germs or any infection as well. It is hard for me to stomach the idea but I want to give it at least a look before I dismiss the uncomfortable idea. Any thoughts? Elle ***

Elle, this is a very controversial subject. I'm not going to touch it. I've read lots of the research. Sorry I'm not buying into it at this time. I'm interested to see how everyone else feels however. Blessings and love.

i've read of this too..but i think you're only talking a few tiny drops of urine mixed w/distilled water...under the tongue...instead of anti-biotics....micki <micki_mushen wrote: Whoops, I forgot this link: http://www.nexusmagazine.com/articles/urine.html This therapy has been around forever. ______________ *** My wish is not to offend anyone but I thought this would be a good place to discuss Urine Therapy. I believe the main problem with typical Americana's doing this would be the typical diet. Urine Therapy is something that I believe originated in Tibet by monks that were ingesting and thinking very positive things. So their mind and body were in balance and if your is not then this would lead to reintroducing in balance back into your person.Just a thought.Enlilson

I like this thought! Seems to make a lot of sense. I guess I am still

just not convinced. No prejudices against those who believe in it, but

I would tend to agree that most of the typical american diet would NOT

lead to very clean or sterile urine. Not to say that there isn't any

out there! Just wouldn't suggest it, in my opinion, to people who

aren't too healthy to begin with...

Hi.

I've read lots about this, and it isn't " controversial " in the

least. Well, maybe it is controversial in the United States. But,

not in the rest of the world. Urine therapy has been in use for a lot

longer than anyone reading this list has been alive.

I'm not endorsing it, in saying this. But, it seems to be

well-established and hardly some 'new fangled' idea.

P. S. You might also be interested to know that urine is anti-septic

.... hence the standard advice for people who are hiking in the wild

that if they are bit by a snake, to " dis-infect " the would with urine

if they are far from civilization and have no clean water.

hi micki,

i have posted about this subject a couple of years ago and it had the

same sort of success as these posts (O; haha. people don't know about

it, it sounds weird, the thought of it scares people, it is just not

your everyday thing. if i was sick, and nothing seems to help, i would

rather try this urine theraphy, wouldn't you? i'm not sick, so i have

nothing to worry about, but it seems an interesting subject to read.
