Guest guest
I have a problem with only my head perspiring when I start anything that takes just a bit more exertion. I'm not doing anything that should even start a sweat, yet my head perspires. Of course, when I am exerting more energy, I'm dripping from my head by that time, and the rest of me is a normal perspire. What is causing this, and what can I do to help the situation? Thank you, Jan

Guest guest
Doc, Thanks for answering. Here are my answers in order of the questions. I'm 58 yrs. - 165 lbs. - 5 ft. 3-1/2 in. - OHIO. I don't have hot flashes now, except for an anxious feeling sometimes in the AM as I awaken. When I was 52 yrs, I went through total menopause after always having a regular 28 day cycle. About 54 yrs old, I started having the anxious feeling in the AM that turned into a hot flash. So I really worked with my body to do as much as I could to balance, so now I'm back to once in a while anxious feeling. The other clues that may help are that I've had a life of autoimmune problems such as arthritis, asthma, allergies, candida since I was a young child. Around age 37 yrs, I discovered herbs and alternative health thinking and have been learning ever since, so have no problems with the weaknesses I listed. One other thing is when I was 44 yrs old, I had a stress "that broke the camel's back" so to speak, which caused me to lose all the hair on my body within one month's time. So I know that my scalp area is not quite normal, along with my whole system since the hair loss is universalis. Of course, there's the perspiration issue as I mentioned. I eat organic whenever I can. I eat mostly turkey, chicken or fish for protein. I drink only water. I don't get hungry; I have to force myself to eat for nutrition. I used to be always 125 lbs after having my 3 children as I was 110 lbs before them. Then around the same time as losing my hair, I started putting on weight even though I was eating the same and exercising the same. I just don't know what I can do next. Thanks for any help! Guest guest
Janet, if you eat chicken IT HAS TO BE ORGANIC. The regular chicken at the supermarkets is loaded with chemicals (growth hormones, anti biotics, steroids, etc). Also, if you eat fish, try salmon; but it has to wild caught, not farm raised (Salmon sardines and flaxseeds have omega 3s which help auto immune diseases). Also, stay away from dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese, eggs, chocolate etc). Dairy is horrible for asthma, ms and arthritis.Janet <ebbs wrote: Doc, Thanks for answering. Guest guest
Dear Jan, OK, this is good data. Obviously, your pH is outa whack, and some Acid / Alkaline balancing is in order. You need to listen to those two CD Lectures of mine. If you call the number below, you can order these. Nowwwww, the second thing that appears to be wrong is a condition that is becoming more and more prevalent in today's society and that is, an Overdose of Radiation. Everyone of your symptoms, and many of those of Fibromyalgia I might add, are the same symptoms as Radiation Sickness. Have you had any X-rays, or MRI's or other exposure to radiation in the last few years???? With all the increase of nuclear testing over the last few years, it doesn't surprise me that the overall general health of the world population has been on a decline and marching side by side with a deterioration of the quality of our food. Guest guest
Dear Doc, Thank you for your thoughts. I sent for your tapes about 8 months ago, and have listened to them, which BTW, are excellent. Re the x-rays, I had periodontal work done at the beginning of this year, and so had x-rays then. But other than that, the last time was probably eight yrs ago when I did a number on my left knee and had to have an MRI done. What does one do for radiation sickness? Guest guest
Hi Tony, I only buy organic chicken. I'm adamant about that. I take supplements of flaxseed oil, fish oil in the summer, cod liver oil in the winter, and krill oil on and off. I fix mostly turkey and chicken at home. I probably should eat more fish. But, you got me on the dairy. I like dark chocolate and ice cream now and then. I have found organic ice cream bars at Sam's Club. I haven't had any attacks of asthma nor arthritis for about seven yrs now, since I started taking a supplement called Moducare. Made a world of difference for the asthma that I would get in the Fall about every 2-3 weeks back then. And I'm a huge advocate of dairy-free acidophilous which I get from my chiro, as it's the strongest I've found. One other supplement made a big difference, and that was astragalus. I felt an inner good feeling when I started that about 9 yrs ago. Thanks so much for your thoughts! Every little bit helps, and adds up to good health. Just wish my hair would do something. Guest guest
That anxious feeling you describe sounds like what I get. I usually notice the anxious feeling when I am trying to get to sleep. If I don't do something to calm myself down it will get more intense over the next week, even having it during the day untill I have a grand mal seizure during my sleep. I took scullcap successfully for about a month to stop this cycle the last time. I know that scullcap can also effect a woman's cycle and flow. I read where American indians once used it during a 'celebration to womanhood' by giving it to a young woman to usher in her first period (or something like that). I am trying to figure out what is triggering these for me so I wonder if there is a link between menopause and my seizures. I'm 46. Perhaps the female formula is the key! Guest guest
Radiation doesn't necessarily cause the pH to go outa whack, but it does have a cumulative effect. Niacin is the key to a solution here since the body doesn't have a natural defence against radiation and needs the help of this vitamin to run out. Radiation can also have "mental" effects such as lethargy, and apathy. Unless you use a special detox program called "The Purification Rundown" which has as its basic active protocol Niacin, Radiation will not leave on its own. The above rundown will handle it terminatedly and proofs the body up against further attacks. A person can get some good relief by doing some serious cleansing such as the Total Body Cleanse and adding Niacin to that regimen. This also helps dramatically. I'll be publishing my second article on Cancer this week, and next week I'll be publishing my third in the Cancer Series and will cover the subject of Radiation in even greater detail. Glad you enjoyed the lectures. ;-) In Health, Freedom, and Love, Doc Doc Shillington727-447-5282Doc - Janet herbal remedies Thursday, July 13, 2006 9:06 PM RE: Herbal Remedies - Perspiration Problem Dear Doc, Thank you for your thoughts. Guest guest
Janet: Not all junk is created equal. the fact is that your body can handle a toxin level up to a certain point. That is why eating organically keeps you below that critical point. Let me give you 3 examples (to think about) 1) Chicken: If the chicken is not organically raised, it was hatched and is in the supermarket in 6 weeks due to all the growth chemicals they feed the chickens. 2) Shrimp: Most shrimp in the USA (store bought) is soaked in sodium tri polyphosphate. This chemical actually swells the shrimp and makes them bigger than what they really are. (Some other sea foods are also soaked in tripolyphosphate) 3) Beef: Besides growth hormones and antibiotics, cows are also given vasopresin (sp?) before going to slaughter. This makes the cow retain water for weight gain and also why the roast or steak you cook shrinks. Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail Beta. Guest guest
Hi Moni, Re the trigger, I remember reading somewhere that the dilation of the arteries or veins has something to do with this happening (can't remember the details). In my case, upon awakening, there must be some kind of physical change going from sleeping all night to waking up. In your case, maybe it's something to do with getting tired by the end of the day. Skullcap is a relaxant, so I may give that a try. So another question would be, what causes the dilation to occur since other people would have the same awakening feeling and tired feeling, and they don't have the anxious feeling. The strange thing about my case is that it's only my scalp, where I have no hair--hence, a weak area of my body. Of course, I have no hair over my whole body; but hair is so concentrated on the scalp. Jan herbal remedies [herbal remedies ] On Behalf Of The Grubb FamilyFriday, July 14, 2006 11:18 AMherbal remedies Subject: Re: Herbal Remedies - Perspiration Problem That anxious feeling you describe sounds like what I get. Guest guest
Tony, That is SO interesting! There are many secrets out there. You may have given me the reason why above my upper lip broke out red and sore when we ate at a restaurant last week in FLA. (I've read that anything that happens to the area above the upper lip has to do with the intestines.) I had two crab cakes with some kind of simple sauce, steamed veggies, and a plain rice pilaf. It happened about an hour after I ate that. I knew it had to be from the food, but the food seemed so safe. So I kept thinking about the crab cakes, as I really didn't know what they put in the crab cakes. I bet it's one of those things you said. I really don't eat crab anyway, but I had to have some kind of fish since we were near the ocean..... Guest guest
I love it! janet, the upper lip has to do with the gut and this is a form of oriental health diagnosis. I know 2 people who can diagnose like that. One is a novice, but she is good. the other is an expert and he is amazing. Again, my view for the moment is to eat at least 50% organic (I am trying to increase it) and stay away from store brand Chicken especially. As for fish, even in florida, your fish may come from China.
Guest guest
Don't even drink one. Knock it off altogether, and knock off any other caffeine sources such as black teas, soda pop, and chocolate. Caffeine throws the adrenal glands outa whack. This is then compensated for by the sex glands and the thyroid. Next thing you know, yer fat and the sex life has gone to hell, and many other problems are prevalent.
