Guest guest
Thank you so much for the charcoal suggestion. I plan to switch to that when I get her home until I get all the ingredients together for the total draw, which I have a feeling would still be beneficial. I tried to wing it and used a homeopathic draw salve. I applied it this morning then again around 4, and we noticed that at 4 the wound was oozing and hoping it's drawing out some toxins. On her skin, I applied vitamin C cream mixed with lavender oil. The vet did insist on keeping her overnight again because of her pain level, and she really does appear to be in quite a bit of pain. Still, I have high hopes of protecting her skin from dying and would love to hear any other ideas. She has two patches that are black but we marked them last night and they haven't spread, and the swelling in her chest has gone down considerably. Hopeful. There's a good chance it was actually a wolf spider since there's a billion of them on our property and I had no idea the two bites are almost identical, or that wolf spiders are poisonous. I did not sleep last night, doing research. I now know far too much about poisonous spiders. Darby
