Guest guest
Hello all...Im new to the list so I hope Im not speaking out of turn here However I do have a question that Im hoping for a little herbal insight on. What is the opinion on using Natural Progesterone Cream for long/irregular cycles? My cycles get about 10 days longer every cycle. My last one was 46 days w. no ovulation (I chart my temps) I am quite overweight (my cycles have gotten better after losing 40pds) and from my understanding this causes an excess of estrogen and the extra progesterone might balance that out. Has anyone had any luck with this? I dont believe I have PCOS, just irregular cycles that I would like to see even out. Carli
Guest guest
I agree with this. Im hoping that as I continue to lose weight my cycles will even out to normal again. It looks like right now the cream I have is *not* organic but I will look for that next time. I have done some research online and also in a few books that I have. And I have come across several herbs that list *hormonal balance* as a benefit, but Im not sure how to come up with a program. Any thoughts? carli Dear Carli, This is OK on a temp basis if the Progesterone cream is ORGANIC, but it is still a bandaid. We'd need to get you on a Hormone balancing program to bring about a permanent change so you're not on a cream for the rest of your life. Guest guest
Welllllll, my last thought on the matter is to switch over to the Female Formula (in the Files) since this will contribute to the balancing of the hormones, rather than the supplementation of them. This goes to the root "cause" of the condition rather than the bandaid approach. Guest guest
Another thing that people have not yet mentioned is getting rid of the influx of estrogen. You see, there are estrogens in our food (aka growth hormones) and estrogen like chemicals in a lot of things. You would go a long way to releaving your problem if you will just cut out all non organic milk and meat products. I did this and after a cleanse to get rid of the xenoestrogens (xeno meaning foreign) I was able to conceive and not miscarry after 15 miscarriages.
