Guest guest
This might be a long shot, but I thought I'd try anyway. A friend of mine fractured his femoral neck bone in the hip a lil more than 2 months ago, during an accident in the lake. He had some screws put in and was on crutches for 2 months and it was supposedly to try and heal itself. He went back for x-rays a week ago with news that it's not healing like it should be and is set up for another appt with hip speciality doctors to see what his alternatives are. He might have to get an entire hip replacement. Which is the option I'm cranky about. AS I'm aware of how having metal like that in the body is going to give him more health issues in the future. Also, I'd rather he be able to heal it naturally and on its own, but we're not sure how exactly. I know a lot of Calcium and Vitamin D is possibly an option...or maybe not. I don't know what else to say really. But if anyone knows any alternative ways he could possibly go about healing this...please let me know.
