I am taking my 7yo son to the dentist for the first time since getting into natural healing...is there anything I need to decline or make sure they don't do? I already told them that I would be refusing the fluoride treatment...anything else I need to be aware of?

If the dentist suggest painting his teeth with flouride to protect them

from cavities, I'd say no thank you.

Try to avoid x-rays if possible. Some dentists take lots of x=rays and

others (like mine) hardly ever suggests one. He does a cleaning and

looks for decay rather than depending on an x-ray. He also asks if I'm

having any problems with pressure, temperature of foods (sensitivity),

pain etc. If your son does have an x-ray, then I would give him about

1/4 of a 100 mg Niacin tablet for about a week to help run out the

radiation from the x-ray. Radiation builds up in the body over time

from the sun, x-rays, bomb testing etc.

If you haven't read, Dianetic The Modern Science of Mental Health it

would be good for you to read it to find out why you and or your

dentist would want to be quiet when your son (or anyone) is receiving

novacaine, having teeth drilled etc. Even why the radio should be

turned off.

Hopefully, you go Marci and he doesn't need any work done at all.
