Guest guest
Hi everyone, I will be having a surgical consultation for oral surgery this coming Thursday and then having surgery with in the next couple of weeks after that. I will be put under and have all four of my wisdom teeth removed, one more molar and a root tip (a tooth that chipped and then disintegrated but the root is still there rotting) removed. Being put under for all of this is pretty much unavoidable and I do plan to do a total body cleanse as well as a liver and kidney one after it is all through. What I do plan to avoid though is pain medications (which is totally useless to me anyway since I metabolize it before it could even kick in) even though I expect to be in a lot of pain. What are some natural ways to relieve this kind of pain. Someone has suggested magnets and light therapy. I tried the magnets after the scaling when they did one whole side of my mouth and the pain was awful once the septicane wore off and they didn't take away the pain. Any suggestions anyone? Also next year I will be having a bridge done (instead of implants as I do not want metal inserted into my jaw). Are bridges safe healthwise or would I be better off with just a partial? hugs, Willow Only when the last tree has diedAnd the last river has been poisonedAnd the last fish has been caughtWill we realizeWe cannot eat money. Guest guest
Willow, I just had an implant done and it's been a wonderful experience. The titanium used for the implant does not cause any problems by being inside the body, unlike amalgam fillings. Having a bridge, whether permanent or removable, causes wear and tear on the teeth next to it and later down the road, you'll have to have more work done on those teeth. Besides bridges only last about 5 years, so there's additional cost by having it replaced. Implants last a lifetime, are independent of other teeth, and are a better health option in the long run. Just my 2 cents here. Guest guest
Clove oil is good for the pain without clove oil and Tahitiannoni juice I believe I would have died from the pain.Kathi Garrison <kathi wrote: Willow, I just had an implant done and it's been a wonderful experience. Guest guest
Hi Willow I had my 4 wisdom teeth out about 2 years ago now, I had to be put under for that as well, so they could do it all at once. I have to say there never was much pain afterwards. My jaw ached for about a week and that was it. I put it down to the power of the mind, I went in with the belief that it just wasn't going to hurt and it didn't. Concidering it costs you nothing, it's gotta be worth a try! Guest guest
Hello, Here's something which might sound strange but it really worked for me.I needed a crown and the doctor kept saying that i'd be in pain and wanted to perscribe vicaden. I said I don't want that so he perscribed something else a little weaker. I prepared by juicing and eating high vit c foods for a week. Then the day came. Before my feeling returned to my face I went and bought a small bottle of virgin olive oil. Drank half of it. Never took the pain medication. Never got bad at all. Supppositly the oil has as asprin affect. Weather it true or not it really worked. From a chiropractic perspective ( maintainance of the nervous system ) I would highly recommend against this. Your teeth, including your wisdoms, serve a very important function in your nervous system. Few dentists or MD's are aware and/or care of this. Consider that most health problems are like a iceberg as they are only the tip of what has been building ( for many reasons ) for a long time. Taking out your wisdoms may not seem like much but it adds to the part of the iceberg under the water. How and when the tip shows up is unknown but it sure helps if you stop the growth of the part that is under the water. Don J. Guest guest
Cinnamon oil will relieve tooth pain but I would recommend diluting it with a carrier oil. Otherwise, you could burn your gums (raw) from the full strength essential oil of cinnamon. cindy > Hi Willow! > > Cinnamon oil is a natural pain remedy.
