Vitamin C question

I think I know the answer to this, but I just wanted to make sure.

Puritan's Pride (vitamin company) makes a Vitamin C crystal which is 5,000

mg of ascorbic acid Vitamin C. This is supposed to be for those who can't

take vitamin capsules or tablets. IMHO this is probably processed in a way

that the amount of Vitamin C you actually get is less. This is a synthetic

version probably as well. Am I correct? What I was also wondering is how

much Vitamin C are you getting say in a tsp of orange peel powder? Does

anyone know? The reason I am asking is because my Homeopath suggested

Puritan's Pride and I'm not sure about their products. I would think the

orange peel powder would be better, but I wasn't sure how much Vitamin C you

get from it.

Thanks,

Lisa

i was gonna ask the same question as you, but my question was gonna

be why it contains 5 grams of carbs from sugars in it. Ive been

reading alot of Vitamin C articles lately and the crystals seem to

be a good choice. I do use their other products and c also but not

the crystals but thinking about trying it.
