Doc,

I finally made this today. I had all the ingredients to make it,

except... black walnut hulls. I tinctured all of them in vodka.. Can I

add the black walnut hull tincture to the total tonic, instead of the

crushed hulls, if so how much? I have about a little over a quart of

the total tonic that I'm going to let sit for a couple of weeks.

I think you mentioned that you were adding tumeric to the mix, if so

how much...? I'd be glad to be a guinea pig on this one. I've been

taking tumeric capsules for a year now, and would like to not take the

capsules.

Do I need to refrigerate this while it's tincturing?

You can, but it is best to use the BWH separately since this will extend the shelf life of your TT.

BWH does not tincture well in ACV whereas the rest of the TT ingredients do.

We add the same amount of Tumeric as we do Garlic or Ginger = One part by volume.

You can use the TT without the Tumeric and it will be great as-is. The Tumeric simply makes it better.

Take your BWH on the side as a separate tincture.

It doesn't matter if you refrigerate your TT or not.

I keep a quart bottle of the stuff on my desk that lasts for about 2 months with me dipping into it once or twice every other day or three.

I love the stuff.

:-)
