Thanks Melissa Melissa : There is a program called " The Incurables " which was created by Dr. John Christopher to aid those in the situation which you describe. It would actually be used instead of the " traditional " program of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy ( with its unfortunately high rate of failure/recurrance ). I have not checked the files on this group but Dr. Shillington may have listed it in these. Don J. Guest guest
She should try some ginger root (get it at the market in the form of crystallized ginger, it is soft and chewy). Also if she is going through chemo, How many more chemo sessions does she need. Because (not intending to scare you) there are alternative treatments to cancer. You should e-mail doc and ask what she needs to rebuild her immune system (chemo knocks out the immune system as does any radical trauma such as surgery).just me <melissat wrote: My best friends daughter in law is going thru chemo because she was diagnosed with breast cancer she cant keep anything down and was just wondering if anyone had some recommendations some told her eat yogart but she cant stand it . Guest guest
Get some fresh ginger root at the grocery store from the produce section. You don't have to peel it, just slice some (about an inch or two) and put it in a non alluminum sausepan with some cold water. Simmer for fifteen minutes and turn off. Strain it and and a little honey or whatever sweetner you like. If it seems too strong, add a little water. I like it warm or cold... like ginger ale. Hope that helps. Get on board.
