I read that it is not all it is cracked up to be. This article said it

is not so healthy. Well there was a bunch of stuff it said. I just

wanted to know if anyone else knew anything. So if anyone knows

anything i would sure like to know. ~~Tonia

Canola oil contains something called euricic acid (sp?) which is not good. Use olive oil!townsend9404 <townsend9404 wrote: I read that it is not all it is cracked up to be. Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min.

Canola oil named changed from Rape Seed oil. Sound a bit ominous? And it comes from the pressed round black seeds of black mustard. Black mustard has a yellow flower and often an aggressive ditch weed. When gathering up leaves for Spring salads, take just a little of the tender leaves from the mustard plant, they are tart and have a bit of a bite to them. To my point of view, Canola or Rape or Mustard seed is an agri-commodity product --it lends itself well to corporate farming methods. From what I have read about the harmful effects of consuming the oil, I stay away from it.
