Guest guest
Dear Valorie, One week ago today (on Saturday of the Labor Day weekend) I received by overnight delivery an order of Doc's Total Draw Poultice Powder, and Total Healing Poultice Powder, along with some DMSO. I hadn't used these products ever before, but now I'll never let myself run out of them!!! The situation was this: In a flurry of wild activity, I had just completely punctured my forearm very with an old, rusty-wire fence that I had been removing along with a few trees that had been growing through it. This is what we call a routine "slash and burn", and something we do for many our of rental property owners (I'm a General Contractor). I have always had Doc's Cayenne Formula and Herbal First Aid Salve on hand, and this is normally enough to handle the minor scrapes and what-not I routinely get when removing overgrowth from backyards or doing demolition work on remodeling projects. However, this rusty-wire puncture was quite deep, and my forearm got so sore and stiff I could hardly sleep that night. The next morning I looked up "Tetanus" on the Internet and found it was a common enough bacteria that has less to do with rusty nails and more to do with dirt and puncture wounds. It was enough info for me to act on. I take plenty of Doc's Total Tonic and so I'm never worried about an infection spreading. But my forearm the next day swelled up so much, it was like I had a nice big chicken breast glued to it. It was a big swinging bag of swelled-up flesh, and it was getting even more sore as time went by. I called and talked directly with Doc, and he recommended the Total Draw Poultice for three days, followed by the Total Healing Poultice. I had the products shipped overnight, along with some DMSO to speed up the healing. The first night I mixed up just half a teaspoon of the Total Draw with some DMSO (my first poultice ever ;-) and put the play-dough-like glob on the puncture wound with a bandage. The next morning the swelling was almost completely gone! I couldn't believe it! Where had it all gone to?!? I removed the bandage and the poultice; the puncture wound was not red nor infected, and the whole forearm was feeling much better. I repeated the procedure two more nights for good measure, and did the Total Healing Poultice a couple of nights even though the puncture itself was almost completely healed. I'm now using some of Doc's Deep Tissue Repair Oil to handle the remaining muscle soreness from the impact, and it is coming along very nicely. I was able to get some things done around the house and in the yard over the Labor Day weekend and got right back to work after the holiday was over without missing a beat. Thanks Doc! Your Herbal Products are the absolute best ! ! ! Mike Tyler Attachment: vcard [not shown]
