Depression does not mean that you are weak or lazy. It is a common illness, like hypertension, diabetes or arthritis, and it can occur at any age. The good news is that there are treatments that work well. Guest guest
thanks, but no thanks. the drugs that they put people on for depression aren't a cure for depression and i personally know two people who have committed suicide after taking those drugs. don't try to cover up depression, find out what is at the root of it. there are lots of reasons for depression and there are lots of remedies that will not do more damage... i had a girlfriend whos mother had died, the first thing the doctor did was prescribe her an anti-depressant. I asked her why he would do that? i told her grief is part of the healing proccess of death. it was only natural for her to be grieving for her mother.... i told her if she covered up the grief with a pill when would she go through that natural proccess? long story short she agreed the pills made her feel out of it and would not take them any more, after all her mother had only been dead a few days and what i said to her made sense... She is fine now and not dependant on any crazy pill. people have been dupped into thinking there is a pill for everything. this is wrong! mother nature knows best. stop running to doctors to fix your problems, stop thinking that you are not smart enough to educate yourself enough to help yourself. there are plenty of avenues of finding what you really need. just take the time to figure it out. if you need help there are plenty of real caring people out there that will help, just ask. janette p.s. this is a very sore subject for me. , " Supporter\ " yas\ " " <abo_elyosr1986 wrote: > > welcome again My friends .. > > Depression is an illness — it is common and treatable. > > Depression does not mean that you are weak or lazy. Guest guest
Janette, I went to the website and looked. It isn't drugs, it's OTC fomulations. Like L-theanine, valerian, passion flower extract for panic disorder, for instance. Still, there's other stuff like EFT that don't cost an arm and a leg. Guest guest
Yeah, I just rewatched the video on EFT to see if I wanted to send it to various people with health/emotional issues. EFT is very non-mainstream--i.e., not 'change by swallowing something', so a lot of people might be closed off to the idea of it, but this video handles introducing the basis of it very well and convincingly:http://www.emofree.com/splash/EFT_video.aspI have some question in my own mind about how well it reaches deeply entrenched attitudes, but I've used it enough myself long enough to know it really does work and effect amazing changes, so I plan to research and learn it more in depth, myself.
