Hi brownsuga, Just read your email and it sounds like you would benefit greatly if you'd try the oil pulling. It's an amazing & remarkable way to regaining mental and physical health. I do it 3 times each day, started on 08/02/08 and here are the benefits I got from using it starting from day one. 1. whiter teeth first use. 2. Lots of mental clairty, bloated stomach went away and has not returned. 3.energy to spare. I could go on & on about this method but I will let you read all about it for yourself. I did not have any of recommended oils so I started with what I had, Vegetable oil. and that's what I use today. Now, if you will go to www.earth.clinic.com you should see oil pulling on the first page, if not type it in at the search bar. Please let me know if you find & use it.and the

results you are getting . God Bless, and Good health to you, Lela"ask and u might receive :)" <brownsuga_n_az wrote: how long am i suppose to take st johns wort for? its been a week since ive taken it. im using it for depression and anxiety. so far, its been a week and i havent had any signs of depression. im still having the anxiety problems. i am thinking about using bach flower remedies to help as well.

Flower essences work nearly instantly but are not long-lasting. St. Johns can take several weeks to see an effect on depression. Tryptophan and tyrosine are excellent antidepressannts that work quicker than St. Johns.

Depression may be linked to thyroid problems. Have you gained weight recently and are you losing the outer parts of your eyebrows? Is your body temperature below normal? These may indicate thyroid problems.

If you have anxiety, that can result in depression. For anxiety, I prefer 5-HTP or kaka kava.--- On Sun, 9/21/08, ask and u might receive :) <brownsuga_n_az wrote:

Diagnosis of hypothyroid is frequently missed by doctors because they base their first diagnosis on TSH hormone which is a pituitary hormone. Your blood test should include at least three thyroid measures, preferably T4, Free T3 and T3 uptake.

Your underarmpit temperature should be higher than 97 degrees F, taken before you get out of bed in the morning at three different times during the month. Feeling hot or cold has little to do with body temperature. The hot or cold experience is primarily dependent on blood sugar levels, peripheral circulation, body fat content, and certain hormone levels.

Depression is frequently anxiety driven. In treating anxiety I prefer to start with flower essences and 50 mg of 5HTP because they are more consistent than herbals and require less frequent doses. Kava kava must be taken three times per day and the total kavalactone content must be 200 mg per day.

If mild depression is the primary problem, St. John'swort is the best supplement. However, depression may be triggered by low blood sugar and it is important to start the day with a protein food and take protein first at each meal. Meals should be small and no more than six hours apart.--- On Sun, 9/21/08, ask and u might receive :) <brownsuga_n_az wrote:
