Guest guest
Hi everyone , There are so many of you on this list who are knowledgeable about somany things, and I am hoping that one or more of you may be able to help. I have a six almost seven month baby who was born at home in water. Before I got Pregnant I had very bad endo that would cause major major debilitatingpain during my periods. The pain was so bad that I could not move and could hardlytalk. I was forced to take very very strong pain meds even to lye in bed. They nevertook the pain away, but just dulled it down. Well skip ahead to rite after the birth. My period returned at like 7 weeks PP and I had no pain what so ever with that period.I was stoked as pregnancy can cure the endo and I assumed that it had. And I hadthe next period with just a slight bit of cramping. I thought OK so a tiny bit ofcramping is ok, and still assumed that the endo would be gone. Then the next periodcame and it was a bit painful and I took a Motrin and it took the cramping away. But now my period started today, and OMG they are just getting worse and worse. TodayI was up at a convention and had to take the baby and sit down as the pain was sobad. I felt very clammy and felt like I was going to throw up the pain was gettingso bad. It appears that it is coming back full force. My problem is I am breastfeedingand can't take any sort of pain meds. Or can I? I really really do not want to haveto take any of that crapp, but the pain gets totally unbearable. SO my question toyou all is, is there any herbs diet etc that I can do that is safe when breastfeedingthat will help with my period pain? I no the EPO is good for menstruation, but isthere any other herbs that can help make the periods not so bad? And if they arebad is there anything at all I can take for pain that will not harm my baby boy?Motrin Tylenol does not help. Is there anything at all I can do to stop this painfrom happening. Before getting pregnant I was scared every month as I new the painwould be coming. Sorry to sound like a whiner, but I am very freaked out. I havea baby to take care of, and can not be in this much pain. Thanks for any help youall can give.

She took Platina 6 c in the morning and oophorinum 6c in the evening. It did not happen over night but it did get better and stayed better. I wish you all the luck with your baby and that this pain gets under control. Edith
Guest guest
Hi Amber, What a strange abbreviation you use. Endo is marijuana, but I assume you mean endometriosis. No, you can't take medication when nursing. What do you eat? Eliminate: WHEAT - causes inflammatory reaction DAIRY - promotes the pro-inflammatory prostaglandins MEAT - promotes the pro-inflammatory prostaglandins ALL SUGAR (including artificial) - causes inflammatory reaction ALCOHOL - uses up your Vitamin B stored in the liver CAFFEINE - increases abdominal cramps and increases estrogen levels CHOCOLATE (contains sugar) ARTIFICIAL ADDITIVES AND PRESERVATIVES - increase chemical load on the system JUNK FOODS FRIED FOODS, MARGARINE, HYDROGENATED FATS - can stimulate negative prostaglandins Eat: beans, peas, lentils, onions, garlic (raw or lightly cooked), carrots (contain beta-carotene), rhubarb, seeds and sprouted seeds, ginger, green tea, beans, red and purple berries, apples, parsley, fennel, cabbage, cauliflower etc, nuts and seeds, celery, carrots, rhubarb, sage, dark green leafy veggies Increase fiber. Take a whole food supplement high in Omega fatty acids. Eat organic if possible Drink half your weight in ounces of water every day. Pure water (not tap water)- If you weigh 120, drink 60 oz.
