Surrogate EFT provides "snoring benefits": Lisa Gunnoe, a housewife, mother and portrait photographer used EFT "in her mind" (yet another positive example of surrogate tapping) for her husband's 17 year snoring problem. As you will see, impressive success was obtained, at least for the times the process was used. Only time will tell if the result is permanent. In the meantime, a simple round or two of EFT should provide snoring relief when needed. Please note that her husband also got relief from morning headaches. Blending Redecision Therapy with EFT--A creative way to uncover core issues: Nancy Porter-Steele, PhD from Canada gives us a highly useful tool for getting at those sometimes elusive core issues. The idea of Redecision Therapy is take the client back to an "early decision" that they are still, unfortunately, holding sacrosanct. EFT can then be used to resolve this improper decision and thereby create freedom where only "self-imprisonment" previously existed. Nancy details this process for us with the actual transcript of a live case. This should prove to be an excellent addition to the professionals' toolbox. Quickie pain relief--A "one point wonder": Please give a serious look at this brief story by Angela Treat Lyon. It involves the complete cessation of severe pain by simply tapping on one point. While EFT does not always work this cleanly (sometimes it takes many sessions of sophisticated applications), there are certainly times when we get this presto result. For your reference, there are many valuable uses for this feature. For example: (1) Some injured athletes might get right back in the game instead of needing weeks of recovery, (2) Physicians with minimal EFT experience can try this simple procedure for a few seconds before prescribing drugs and (3) It can be applied where the social circumstances wouldn't permit a longer session. Injured toe gains relief using two important EFT concepts: Tania de Winne, MD from Belgium illustrates two important concepts as she uses EFT to relieve a severely injured toe: (1) The use of SPECIFICITY in aiming EFT at the pain and (2) the use of PASSION in the EFT language to address stubborn issues (I've had clients literally YELL the SetUp Statements and usually achieved some success in doing so). Using EFT for Cold Feet: Here's a brief but powerful story from Steven Munn who used EFT successfully on his persistent problem with cold feet. Note that he tried many other methods before using EFT and all of them failed. Then, only 2 simple rounds of EFT completely resolved the problem. What is important to recognize here is that potentially complex problems like this don't always need to take several sessions. Sometimes the problem will resolve quickly if we just address it in a straightforward manner. Persistence pays off for Chronic Fatigue: This well written and instructive article by Mhairi Alexander (from the UK) displays the value of the persistent use of EFT for stubborn issues such as Chronic Fatigue. The client, in this case, is her husband (he provides a follow-up note at the end). As you will see, impressive progress was made, even though Mhairi started out as an EFT Newcomer and the time involved was over 2 years.
