Guest guest
How long have you had her? What kind of food are you feeding? Is it the same as the people before you were feeding her? I have seven cats, and all of them get this from time to time. Try giving her some slippery elm bark. It always works like a charm. One other question. Is her abdamin bloded or does it look normal? Good luck Amber - kerley983 Sunday, December 21, 2008 6:42 AM young cat about 6 mo. old has Diarrhea I have found a bout a 6 mo old kitten that has diarrhea. Does anyone have any idea why? I have looked it up on the internet, and they some vets use Probiotic. I have a liquid probiotic and am going to try it and see what happens, What concerns me is if she needs an antibiotic or something like that. I thought it was the food, but the prior people who had her said she had it also when she came to their house. I guess it is really time for a vet. sharon One site keeps you connected to all your email: AOL Mail, Gmail, and Mail. Try it now.
Guest guest
Bifidus does well for diarrhea. Although, if I were you I would take her to the vet to rule out major health problems. Guest guest
NWRaven You may want to put calcium bentonite clay or pascalite clay in his drinking water and his food, I use 1 Tsp to 2 Tsp of clay in a bowl (bowl size 2 cups) of water for my cats, for dry food use about 1/4 cup of dry clay per 5 lbs, mix well to coat the nuggets, with wet food or natural meat diet mix it well, they love it! If you have sodium bentonite just use it until the diarrhea stops, then put him on calcium bentonite or pascalite, can be used daily to prevent parasites and to absorb toxins and get them out of his system, he should be fine in a about 3 days or less, make sure you keep him on the clay to make him healthy again.
