Haima Bushen Wan an ethical formula?

I could not find the details of Haima Bushen Wan (Tientsin formula) online,

so I had a look at several other versions on WWW today. My summary is:

 

PATENT FORMULA: Haima Bushen Wan (Sea-horse Tone KI Pill,

Hippocampus KI Tonic Pill; Hippocampus Virility Pill)

 

FORMULA CLASS: Tone Yang for Yangxu

 

INGREDIENTS (expressed as %):

I notice most of the banned ingredients are genitals of endangered animals.

Where I live, the animal feed stores carry dried bull genitals as chew toys for

dogs. I wonder if this would cause testosterone/hormone and aggression problems

for the dogs that chew them, but I digress. Could these bull genitals be used

as substitutes for some of the original ingredients that have been banned?

Actually, deer and donkeys are not endangered, and while I don't know about

Haigou, I won't be surprised if it is endangered. Assuming Niugu is cow

bone, it can't possible be banned for being endangered. However, wild Haima

is a disaster as they trash tropical reefs harvesting it, and I have no idea

if there are people cultivating it.

 

Regarding bull genitals, I'm sure that would be a fine substitute, and in

fact I've seen them in patents meds here in China, and in one of particular

note for of it's English name- " Multi-Penis Pill " . I got a good laugh out of

that when I first saw it!

 

As for quality and purity of Chinese patents, as Phil mentioned this company

has had some problems, and in my opinion one should always be cautious about

patents from China- you just never really know, unless maybe you've audited

the factories.
