Guest guest
Hey, New site promoting acupuncture through clothing and accessories ie. shirts, hats, mugs, clocks, bags, etc. The more people that see acupuncture will lead to more people " thinking acupuncture " and will lead to more patients. I love the design of the heart made from acupuncture needles creating a 3d like image. Guest guest
Hi Elie, I had fun looking at your new products line this morning. Be forewarned, however, the TCM list owner will probably not be too happy about you using the list to promote your business. This is a no-no. I took a look at your prices, thinking it might be nice to purchase some stuff for World AOM Day in October, but it looks like your prices are all retail - are you offering wholesale discounts? Lastly, I took a look at the " find an acupuncturist " link for Arizona. Only one name comes up, for the Phoenix area. How do I get listed? I still can't get any of the links on the jobs list or the acupuncturists list to work, but I'm hoping this will change after Friday, when we get better internet service. Guest guest
Sorry everybody. I meant to send that last email to Elie privately. Guest guest
Thanks Andrea, they are nice designs, and it is a retail shop, but I actually have nothing to do with their selling, shipping, or any of the normal customer service that would normally go on. But I do know they offer bulk discounts and ship internationally. The TCMy is just a sponsor of their products. As far as announcing it on this forum, I am not sure that it would not be allowed. I do see occasional announcements of someone's new business or website even from people that I never see post anything else. I do other postings as well and do comment sometimes on other peoples postings too so I would think a regular contributor to this forum would be able to announce acupuncture related things here and there. Also I needed a break from all the ABORM threads. As far as you getting listed as an acupuncturist in Arizona, just go to http://www.tcmdirectory.com and click on " submit link " icon at the top of the page. Yes, there is only one other listed right now. Hopefully your new internet service will allow you to see all the acupuncture jobs, `cause there is a bunch listed and the acupuncture jobs alert goes out every few days with new jobs available. Guest guest
No, " acupuncture, it's just a little prick " is not the " cutest little shirt " , it's offensive. Imagine any other form of medicine having shirts with this type of speech, simply ridiculous. Guest guest
Hi Tymothy, Actually I said the cutest one was the heart shaped out of acupuncture needles with a 3d like image. But the one you mentioned I think is great too! I think it is far from offensive and relays the message that acupuncture does not hurt in a humorous way. Of course you are entitled to your opinion and don't have to like any of the designs. Look around, EVERY form of medicine has humorous message t-shirts. Why? Cause people like them, people relate to them, and they help promote that industry. And sometimes they're even funny! Maybe this is exactly what acupuncture needs to get into the mainstream and have people realize that acupuncture can fit in with their lifestyle and the rest of the medical world; acupuncture is great and effective and is here to stay. As I said, you are entitled to your opinion and I welcome all feedback when offered respectfully.
