Guest guest
hi friends, I sent this message earlier but as I havent seen it posted, will try again. I know aol has its crazinesses. I apologize if it ends up as double posted! and appreciate in advnace your insighrs. A. Hello All, I am a student working to understand the possible effects chinese medicine (acupuncture more than herbs) may have on western. dx of osteoporosis. I am curious about your varied expereinces and thinking! Do you tend to treat K yin or yang deficiency, depending on how the patient shows up, as the root, and then pain symptoms as branch? What kinds of points and point patterns prove useful to you? How does a patient with the western dx of osteoporosis tend to show up in your practices -usually after suffering a fracture? or with spinal or other pain? (and how does their pain tend to present?) How do you understand the etiology and pathology of osteoporosis in CM terms? Im working to 'shift my paradigm' of thinking here(from wm perspective to a purely Cm way of seeing), plus would really welcome your practical insights. Many thanks !
