Guest guest
Hi Steve, I've successfully treated a lot of kids with this problem, but need more info to be able to give any suggestions. If you can, please provide details of: Tongue Pulse Index venules (for left and right index fingers the color, thickness, location of veins) appetite digestion bowel movements sweating talking in sleep moving around a lot in sleep anything else you think relevant to help with a good diagnosis. Guest guest
Steve: I think your overall treatment - whatever style you use, will eventually decrease this teeth grinding. It sounds stress related, as most of it is. I would look to clearing heat. I do this by releasing heat on the Yin Back Shu points, heart last, for 20 mins, shallow needling. With a seven year old - use guide tubes and thin needles. Have her cough, if she is nervous. Start with Bl 13, 14,18, 20, 23 and then back to 15. Leave in for 20 mins (or more if heat is still clearing). I always leave in even if I don't see red for 20 mins. I personally wear a night guard - fitted especially for me, after trying the less expensive deals. This seems to be helping with over 40 years of things to dream about, and grind teeth over. Regular acupuncture and my colorpuncture (great for kids), treatments also help. Hope this helps, Anne -------------- Original message ---------------------- " Steve " <littleprince_s > The following case: > female, 7 years, caucasian. normal growth, well nourished.
