Hi All,

Following is a brief description of our centre and the work we are doing. It

will be great if you could help us by introducing us to people on your network

and parents of the CP patients and people or institutions/ organizations who are

working on CP & associated neurological disorders. If we could introduce this

work to people, we could help hundreds and thousands of CP patients and their

families.

Anwar Shah Trust for Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Paralysis is a non profit

organization working in the field of neuro-rehabilitatio n since January 2002.

We are providing free treatment services to poor patients especially children

suffering from cerebral palsy (CP) and associated neurological disorders like

epilepsy, spasticity, sensory-neural deafness, aparxia/ dysparaxia of speech,

cortical blindness, diplegia, hemiplegia and quadriplegia. We have treated over

2700 patients of CP from all over Pakistan, USA, Holland, Germany, U.K and

Norway in the last 6 years.

Mission statement:

We at Anwar Shah Trust for Cerebral Palsy and Paralysis are working to develop:

A comprehensive treatment protocol for patients especially children suffering

CP and associated neurological disorders like epilepsy, spasticity,

sensory-neural deafness, aparxia/ dysparaxia of speech, cortical blindness,

diplegia, hemiplegia and quadriplegia.

A hospital and a research center where all the available treatment facilities

will be provided under one roof to patients especially children suffering from

CP.

A team of medical professionals trained in the field of neuro-rehabilitatio n

which can work in all areas of Pakistan and other parts of the world.

Cerebral palsy is the single most common developmental disease affecting 7 out

every 1000 live births. According to some studies the incidence of CP is even

higher in developing countries like Pakistan.

Thanks & best regards.
