Guest guest
Focal disturbances are generally sub-clinical (hidden) dental or sinus infections (scars anywhere are also lumped in to this category), which are considered barriers to healing more obvious problems. Auriculomed practitioners monitor the VAS pulse while scaning the ear surface (some use low voltage electro-point stim). It helps to understand AK principles and have a good set of test filters (etiologic factors, etc). Otherwise, you're left to just guess at the significance of pulse reactivity to a particular point (which may or MAY NOT match any auricular map). Whereas Terry Oleson's books stay with a simplified rigid approach to auricular acupuncture, " Identifying and Treating Blockages to Healing by Beatt Strittmatter " appears to get at some of the complexity of Nogiers later work. I haven't read it yet, but intend to. For a few reasons, Auriculomedicine is not taught in America. joe reid www.jreidomd.blogspot.com >>>> I have heard the in Germany there is an instrument made for helping focal diagnosis based on auricular acupuncture and pulse diagnosis .I could not find any information on the net.I shall be very happy if any body has any information regarding this this instrument . regards.
